TEDTalk Event
ART DIRECTION - ILLUSTRATION
TEDTalk is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talk. These events are curated by topics like health, technology, society and culture, and many others. I curated a TEDTalk event located at the Woodruff Arts Center that was about Gender-Neutrality. For the invitation, I wanted to give parents, my target audience, a fun interesting story that represents two different paths a child could take if they were or not exposed to gender stereotypes. Once patrons are at the venue, they will see an art display of children's art. Kids love to draw and dream about what they want to be when they grow up but because of stereotypes, they are not able to fulfill that dream. I created magnets that can be placed on your home refrigerator. These magnets give tips on how to raise a gender-neutral child and also give your child more magnets to play with while you’re cooking.
